Jeff Bezos will step down as Amazon CEO on July

<p>Amazon managing director Andy Jassy will be taken over by Amazon, JeffBezo, which grew up in Amazon, from an internet library to an online commerce juggernaut, on 5 July. Bezos declared at an Amazon shareholder meeting, &#8220;We have chosen this date because it&#8217;s meaningful to me. He said that Amazon was formed exactly 27 years ago, in 1994.</p>

<p>Bezos, 57, will become the executive chairman and focus on new products and activities with a personal fortune of $167 billion. He expects to concentrate on his other businesses like the Washington Post and his rocket ship firm Blue Origin.</p>
