Twitter is getting ready to roll out a tool for verified companies’ job listings.

A new service that will let verified businesses on Twitter post job openings directly on their profiles appears to be about to go live. While there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, several verified businesses have already begun making use of the capability to post job advertisements beneath their Twitter biographies. The job listings will drive interested candidates to the organization’s website, where they can get additional information about the position and submit an application.

Information regarding the “Twitter Hiring” Feature
Nima Owji, an app researcher, tweeted a screenshot of the new function, which Twitter purportedly calls “Twitter Hiring.” Verified organisations will be able to post up to five job vacancies to their profiles as part of a feature designed to help them recruit qualified candidates for their available positions.

The graphic also shows that Twitter will provide a smooth method for verified organisations to connect to a supported Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or XML feed in order to import all of their open positions to the site. They may streamline the hiring process by adding their job postings to the site in a matter of minutes thanks to this integration.

The Hint from Elon Musk and the Purchase of Laskie
It is not a surprise that the job listings function has been added because Twitter’s owner, Elon Musk, alluded to it back in May. When asked if Twitter should add dating services, Musk responded, “Interesting idea, maybe jobs too.”

Twitter purchased Laskie, a tech business that matches jobs with candidates, in May in anticipation of this move. Since Musk bought Twitter, this acquisition was the first for the company. The technology developed by Laskie is thought to have contributed to the creation and execution of the job postings function.

Twitter challenges Indeed and LinkedIn
The site is positioned itself to compete with well-known job listing services like LinkedIn and Indeed with the introduction of this new feature. Although Twitter users have in the past announced job openings via tweets, this new feature will make it simpler for businesses to connect with possible candidates among Twitter’s huge user base.

Included in the Verified for Organisations Package for Job Listings
The Twitter job listings function is free for verified organisations to use. For instance, the media outlet Workweek acknowledged that they had access to the functionality, which is a component of Twitter’s $1,000 per month Verified for Organisations plan. This feature enables companies to use Twitter’s platform to engage with and attract potential job seekers without having to pay additional fees.
